So for my birthday, my sister bought me a wonderful Moleskine watercolor
sketchbook, which I wanted to break in when I move out of the country
in early August. I couldn’t help myself… I just had to put something in
it. I think this came about mostly because I wanted to paint an eye but
have been looking a lot at old nature paintings and engravings (Audubon,
Walton Ford, Oudry). Usually that style of work is not my favorite, but
lately I’ve really been digging it.
