The Muscles of the Lioness

I decided that I wanted to paint something on the computer for practice. To add to the experience I decided to paint from an anatomy book I have called Cyclopedia Anatomicae by Gyorgy Feher and Andras Szunyoghy.

After finishing up the lion, I decided I needed some background practice as well, so I found an image online (which I can't seem to find now). Overall, this isn't something I find particularly interesting, but it was some excellent practice. Obviously all muscles shown are not labeled.

New Orleans Zoo Sketches

A few sketches I did at the New Orlean's Zoo. Giant Ant Eater, Lion, Asian Elephant. Done with marker and white charcoal.
